Shopping and more Shopping (and Hells Pizza)

Sunday, 5th June 2005

Ampony and I met the new Landlord today. He seems fairly nice. I might have given him a fright though, because I was in a little bit of a shitty with Ampony, and snapped at Ants in front of the LL. Oh well.

We went to the Nissan Dealership to pick up a nut for Amponys Skyline. While we were there, we came across this:

Kilometres: 169,000km
Body: Burgendy, 2 door, Coupe
Engine: 6 cylinder, 2498cc, Manual
History: 2 owners, Imported
Features: Air conditioning
Alarm
Alloy wheels
Central locking
Power steering
Sunroof

It was a really nice car, but the body kit was cracked in the font, from when they owner ran into a rabbit. Also, only two door, which I`m always weary of because the larger the doors, the easier it is to bash other cars with my dear. However, would be great for “double points”. The guy also meantioned that it had been thrashed by himself around Mansfield, and by test drivers – but “was still going well”. That was a bit of a dumb thing to say, but I suppose that the guy thought that Ants was a thrasher type of person, which he`s not (that`s me!). I didn`t know that Ampony was looking at upgrading until today. I don`t think that this is the one he should buy, but we`ll see.

Oh, on our way to Nissan, we brought a lotto ticket, coz I was feeling lucky. I want $6m dammnit!

After Nissan, we went down to the overseas terminal, because there is a clothing sale for Queens birthday. We spent a while there, and I managed to find 3 pairs of trousers that fit me! They are Hound Dog, and are skate pants, but they look good, and they are made of tough material, and they were the only pants there that were above size 14 (go figure). Anyway, $15 each for pants that are usually $50+ is pretty good. Ampony and I also brought a black lambs wool scarf each for $14, but we got one free, because the guy forgot to ring it on, and he just said “Shh! Don`t tell anyone!”. It was a good buy, because both Ants and I put our new scarves on as soon as we hit that Antarctic wind that was blowing outside. I wished I brought my gloves!

So then we wandered over to the Warehouse, and I was hungry, and wanted a sausage sizzle hot dog, but Ants said to wait till we got out of the store. I argued with him a little, but didn`t want to stand in the cold on my own eating a sausage. So we were in the store for ages, and Ants brought “Underworld”and another DVD, and some window washer for his car. On the way out, it was 4pm, and of course, the BBQ was finished, and being cleaned up. I punched Ants in the arm. That`s the second time he`s done that to me!

Anyway, we got home about 4:45pm, and I made myself some vegemite and alphalpha sprout sandwiches, and I ate them while we watched Underworld. Then at quarter to 6, we decided we were going to have Hells for dinner, so I ordered a snack Pandemonium with sun dried tomato (instead of cranberry), a Kali pasta, and Unearthly (which is custard, banana and chocolate dessert pizza). It was such a good meal. I love Hells. I love it so much!

Then I had to babysit at 6:45pm, so off I went up there until 1am. I was so tired when I got home. I was a bit annoyed too, because while I was paying Ants back for my trousers, I found out they short-changed me $5. Oh well, I babysit for them regularly. I watched “˜Along Came Polly` with Jennifer Aniston, and Ben Stiller, and it was a fairly good movie, quite funny, a bit on the boring side. It defiantly wasn`t what I thought it would be. I also watched “˜City of Angels`, to which I bawled and bawled and bawled so much, that I gave myself a headache.

I went to bed with that damn headache, and Ants had a sore tummy. He though it might be from the pasta, but I feel fine (apart from the sore head) then he thought that it might be from too much dairy. He said he sometimes gets it when he was too much ice-cream. It`s funny the things that you learn, even though you`ve been together for 3 years huh?!
