About when J@zz and I first started going out. It was official tonight at his place. But Like I’ve said in previous entries, I’ll explian it when I get time.

J@zz and I went to visit Venusvixen and her man. We were supposed to go out for a little drinks or something, but they never got back to us, so we cruised round there. The lights were off… where could they be? For about the 5th time, we rang them, and we finally get hold of them. InvaderSpleen (the new nickname for venusvixens man) says they were in bed, and if we wanted to come up, we weren’t allowed to bring alchy, but we had to take food. I’m trying not to be. But sometimes it’s just hard to hide those feelings that have been sitting down there for quite some time. I’m not even sure why they’re bubbling over, but they are (probably because of the lack of sleep over the past 8 days, and the inability to sleep in after 10.30am).

Friday, 5th July 2002

Yet another Friday to end another long week. I worked in a ‘sister childcare’ centre today. See, the centre that I work at is one of 6 centres. Anyway, the one I worked at was with 2year olds to 5year olds, and it’s really damn scary working with children that run around and talk, and yell and jump, and talk to you, and tell you want they want and… you get the jist of it. But I have to say that the teachers that I worked with were really cool, and really helpful, and I survived my first 4 hours of the day there pretty well. Read more…

I can’t believe that it’s July. Where the hell has this year gone? It seems to be slipping right before my eyes. But I think I’ve been enjoying every last bit of it.

Today I got to work with the transition children (18mths – 2years) and that was a bit of a change. They talked to me, and ran around, which I’m not used to. And I didn’t really know their routines, or their personalities that well, so it was hard for me to determine why they were crying (when it was just a tantrum). But all the same, I really enjoyed fumbling my way through the day, and it went really quickly. Read more…

Another end to another loooong week. And I get to see my brother Charlie (see List of Characters) for the first time in about a year! We organised it yesterday when he was staying at our Grandma’s and he gave me a ring, which is always nice, and we had a big yarn about our fam-dam-ily. Read more…
