I drove to Palmy today to meet my Mum. We had a lovely, wonderful afternoon.  We talked like we haven’t talked in years, and it was fantastic. It’s so nice to be back on good terms with my Mum. We’ve been through some rough patches, but she’s really been there for me over this last little while with all the troubles in my life. I love you Mum.

Included in our day was shopping at K-mart for clothes. My birthday present! Yay! I will be warm this winter! I have new jeans, new pants, and new tops. Photos to come.

After saying farewell to Mum, I headed around to Kylie’s, and again there was more talking to be had. This time about relationships (oh wait, so was the main topic of conversation with my Mum… ) so I was pretty talked out by the end of the day.  There was also a little bit of chocolate to be had, and seeing where Kylie’s man Chris lives (tee hee squee).

A wonderful day, but boy, is my ear chewed off!

The day dawned slightly overcast, and I hoped that it would clear soon with the hot sun. I realised very soon that getting into the shower was going to be a pain in the bum, so I nipped down to Southgate to Vicky’s room so I could shower and get ready for the day without interruption.Warning: Graphics galore!
