I guess there’s one way to work through the past – changing my blog header… it’s bitter sweet. Taking out Anthony from them, but knowing that in many photos, he was the one behind the camera, or around me when I was taking the photo. Just like he’s there, but not there anymore. I guess this relationship ‘ghost’ will be with me for some time.

Yes, my blog is a bit of a mess at the moment, that’s because I’ve completely wiped it (and all the crappy built up files from the last 4 years) and I have started again. So at the moment pictures are all over the place, as are most other bits and pieces. But the backend looks good; just a matter of uploading everything, getting all the plugins working, and then she’ll be right mate!

I’ve just installed a plugin called TinyMCE comments. It’s supposed to give you, the reader, a better and easier way to respond to comments. If your comment doesn’t post, let me know via the Contact Me form at the side. There has been some talk that this plugin clashes with a Spam killer plugin.
I have just found the thing that I’ve been looking for for ages and I can’t believe it was just a hidden toolbar all along!
Thanks to http://courtneytuttle.com/
Go to your write post screen, and push shift+alt+v and you get a new toolbar that gives you all the formatting you would normally get from a word processing programme like Word!!
Oooo Exciting!!!
I finally got widgets up and going. Hurrah! I couldn’t for the life of me work out why it wasn’t working, and then I found the problem I didn’t have a functions.php file in the themes folder
very interesting mistake, I guess because I’ve never needed it before now. So now I can have fun clickity clickty with my sidebar. Read more…

You probably won’t have noticed but I have done a lot of work on my blog tonight. I’ve put in a bunch of new plugins like ‘Brians threaded comments’ and ‘comment quote’ and such. I started at 3pm and with several breaks it’s now 3am on Monday. I’m so glad that it’s Queens Birthday today. Hurrah! Sleepin!
I’m going to go look at a car in 12 hrs time lol

I’ve found a neat little plugin called “Now Reading” by a guy called Rob. Sorry Rob, I didn’t donate. Anyway, it’s bloody fantastic, and has replaced the ‘Miniblog’ substitute that I was previously using. Now I just want to find a way to add pictures and such, and make it a bit prettier.
Oh, this is what happens when I have a bit of time to play. I was actually trying to find a decent plugin like ‘Photopress’ for me and my Mum to use on our sites. *sigh*
I’ve just uploaded a Favicon. It’s nice to have something personal that can pop up there instead of the old page symbol. It defiantly looks cute. There’s a blog that has a favicon generator that will turn 100x100px graphics into a 16x16px icon.
